Responsible Gaming
Gambling Should Be Entertainment, Not Income
At Mystake, we believe gambling should only ever be viewed as entertainment. It is never a reliable way to earn money or solve financial problems. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose, and always set strict limits before you play.
If you find yourself struggling to control your gambling, support is available. Please reach out to one of the organisations listed below.
Age Verification
You must be 18 years of age or older (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction) to use Mystake and engage in any form of gambling. We take age verification seriously and reserve the right to request proof of identity at any time.
If you are under the legal gambling age, please do not attempt to gamble. Gambling at a young age can lead to serious harm.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
If you recognise any of the following signs, you may be developing a problem with gambling:
- Gambling with larger amounts of money than you intended
- Feeling the urge to gamble with increasing amounts to get the same excitement
- Failed attempts to cut back or stop gambling
- Thinking about gambling constantly or planning your next session
- Gambling when feeling stressed, anxious, or upset
- Chasing losses by gambling more to try to win back lost money
- Hiding your gambling from family, friends, or partners
- Borrowing money or getting into debt to fund gambling
- Neglecting work, family, or personal responsibilities because of gambling
- Lying about the amount of time or money you spend gambling
If you've recognised any of these signs, please seek help immediately.
Self-Help Tools & Controls
Mystake provides a range of tools to help you gamble responsibly:
- Deposit Limits: Set a maximum amount of money you can deposit within a specified period (daily, weekly, or monthly)
- Loss Limits: Set a maximum amount you're willing to lose before you must stop gambling
- Reality Checks: Receive regular reminders about how long you've been playing and how much you've wagered
- Time-Out (Cool-Off): Take a break from gambling for a period of time (hours or days) without closing your account
- Self-Exclusion: Permanently or temporarily close your account if you feel you cannot control your gambling
To access these tools, log in to your account and visit the Responsible Gaming settings. Our support team can also help you set up these controls.
